Catch Design continues its partnership with the New Zealand Team for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games

The Olympic Games are the pinnacle of many global sports. It’s where New Zealand’s elite athletes aspire to compete, win, and create magic moments for themselves and the country.

As we look towards Paris 2024, Catch is proud to continue its nine-year partnership with the New Zealand Olympic Committee, supporting and celebrating our athletes with world-class digital experiences.

Catch is a long-standing partner of The NZ Team, and this will be our third Summer Olympics Games together. Every Games cycle gives us a chance to learn, reflect and renew our digital assets, and we’re aiming to make Paris 2024 the most successful Games ever for digital engagement.

Hamish Stevenson, Founder and CEO at Catch, said, “It’s really special to be able to play a small role in connecting New Zealand with our athletes, celebrating those wonderful moments of triumph and personal achievement, and giving the country a glimpse behind the scenes, to show them what it takes to compete at an elite level.”

“For Paris 2024, we’ll launch a brand new website and mobile app to bring New Zealanders closer to our athletes than ever before. The NZ Team’s digital channels will be the best place for news, inspiration and interaction.”

“We feel very privileged to be able to continue our partnership with NZOC. We love working with the remarkable team at The NZ Team, and we’re excited and incredibly honoured to have the opportunity to make our athletes and fans proud.”

Nicki Nicol, CEO and Secretary General of the New Zealand Olympic Committee, says delivering world-class digital experiences is, more than ever, a crucial part of a successful Games for us.

“Our website and mobile app sit alongside TV and social coverage as the most important channels for engaging and inspiring fans and connecting New Zealanders with our athletes during the Games.”

“But our digital channels are equally important outside of Games time—to remember and celebrate New Zealand’s rich history and legacy in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games.”

“As a charity, we rely heavily on partners to help promote sport and the Olympic values to New Zealand. Catch has been an amazing supporter of the NZ Team since 2015, helping send our teams to compete overseas and bringing the excitement and spirit of the Games back home. We’re really excited about some of the digital innovations we’re about to launch for Paris 2024, and we’re looking forward to making this the most successful Olympic Games ever for digital engagement.”

The Paris Olympic Games start on Friday, 26 July 2024 and run until Sunday, 11 August.
